Ini adalah sebuah film tentang masyarakat yang terisolasi. Ketika suatu desa kecil di Polandia ditelantarkan oleh seluruh pemudanya yang merantau ke Islandia, generasi tua mau tidak mau harus beradaptasi dengan panggilan VoIP, seperti Skype. Internet menjadi satu-satunya sarana terjangkau bagi penduduk Stare Juchy untuk berbicara dengan anak dan cucu mereka. Film ini mengikuti perjalanan komunitas yang terhubung dengan teknologi dan cara mereka memupuk hubungan intim mereka dari jauh. Pada akhirnya, ketika mereka bertemu di dunia nyata, nilai sebuah relasi antarmanusia semakin terungkap… dan berharga.

“In Touch” is a film about communication in isolation. When a tiny Polish village is abandoned by its entire youth who relocated to Iceland, the older generation have to come to grips with VoOIP calls like Skype. The Internet is the only affordable means of how the residents of Stare Juchy speak with their children and grandchildren. This film follows a community bonded by technology, and how they can continue their deepest relationships from afar. But when they finally meet and touch, the value of human contact is revealed... and cherished.
